KCMJ is once again broadcasting at 93.9 FM. Thanks to our engineering volunteers Ray Uberecken, Bill Douglass, Bobby Irwin and Erik Nelson, and local climbing guide and instructor Bruce Hamilton, we got a new cable installed on the dome at Stargazers last Thursday, and completed wiring of lightning protection. Over the weekend our amazing IT volunteers, Mark Barsocchini and David Burgess, with assist from Bobby Irwin, Erik Nelson and yours truly, redesigned the computer system that keeps us ticking (yes, it’s THAT complicated, JL!). That caused more downtime over the weekend than we wanted, but in the end KCMJ is better and more robust than ever. Thanks for your patience with us during these service interruptions. It takes a village to launch a community radio station, and this village has been VERY busy!
